My favorite place to stay in Cherokee! The people that own and run the motel are very kind and cool people. The motel has a little fishing spot and picnic area behind the hotel. The place is kind of old fashion but I love that more than a brand new hotel. I my own self will never stay anywhere in Cherokee when ever I go there unless there is no availability and have no choice. It's beside the casino and granny's kitchen and has a fishing spot...don't let the little fishing spot fool you!!! I had fun and dinner right out back. A+++
Shoutout to the manager- she so nicely took our picture in front of the sign when checking out. Rooms were clean and everything was working. Back patio with backyard was awesome. Would come back
The motel was nice and comfortable. The personal was very nice and polite. Was willing to get you anything you wanted.
Clean room and nice place to stay worth the money. The only problem we found was that the TV was old style and no fridge or microwave but besides that it was great and the people were nice and helpful and it is right next to casino.
Stayed here for years and never seen bugs. ( ? ) Great deal for the price and they have made some upgrades on the rooms including carpet. Will be staying there this weekend.
you go the Cool Water Motel when you just want a place to sleep, close to eating (just across the street) and close to trout fishing (out the back door 30 feet). If you want luxury, go in town to a twice the price to sleep. Then you can enjoy your "free" continential breakfast consisting of horrible orange juice, day old muffins and a glass of milk. I will go across to Granny's Kitchen and have a breakfast buffet better than Shoney's.
Nice, clean, good price. I can never sleep on vacation and the bed was so comfy I slept great! Nice pool that I'm getting ready to check out! Also, there's a trout pond which makes the hubby happy lol
Rooms are outdated although they are clean .. nice picnic area out back next to the creek . Overall good place to stay
